The operations department coordinates and facilitates the University’s mission in the areas of advancement services, donor stewardship, stakeholder relations, and research. Operations is responsible for the management of the university's alumni database and prospect management system and for supporting the needs of University Relations through providing information needed to plan and execute annual and capital fund raising programs and alumni events. Jenny Rahr Jenny Rahr has worked at Alfred University since 1998. She came to Alfred as the Annual Fund Secretary and in 2000, she became Director of Operations. In 2002 she achieved her current position as Director of Development Information and Support Services. In addition to overseeing the alumni database and providing frontline technical support, she manages mail and phonathon card production and support staff operations for University Relations. She is currently taking classes at AU, working toward her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with a minor in Business Administration.
