Greetings to all who “Majored in the Human Experience!”

It has been 30 years since we left, down the road through Alfred Station, and headed out into the world. Come back and share where you’ve been on June 7-9 as we celebrate our 30th reunion. We’re certain you’ll have a great time revisiting your favorite Alfred places, reconnecting with friends and classmates, and enjoying all the fun reunion activities.

Here are a few updates:

• There is more to do on Friday of Reunion 2013: The Seven Wonders of Alfred Tour and the Craft Show will be available this year on both Friday and Saturday. Alfred University's faculty members will be performing international music on both nights as well.
  
• On your way to the International Coffee and Dessert event in the newly renovated Ade Hall on Saturday night, take some pictures with friends in the photo booth located in the Powell Campus Center.

We have two important goals: 

• The best turnout of any class at Reunion 2013. You can help by inviting our classmates to join you in Alfred.
• The highest possible participation for the Reunion Gift from the Class of 1983. It would be great to have a gift from everybody! Be sure your check indicates that it’s your Class of 1983 Reunion Gift. If you’ve already made a gift this year – THANK YOU!

Please do two things today:
Register online at www.alfred.edu/alumni/register or by calling the Alumni Relation Office at 607-871-2144.  Take advantage of discount rates by registering by April 1. The alumni website has everything you will need: register, find classmates, and see who is coming. Check out the lost list; if you see names you know, encourage them to get in touch with AU to get Reunion 2013 information.

Make your generous contribution to the Class of 1983 30th reunion gift in several ways:

• Make your gift online at: http://www.alfred.edu/alumni/giving/alfred-fund.cfm
• Include your gift with your reunion registration form
• Mail your gift to: Alfred University, C/O Celeine Easdon-Smith, One Saxon Drive, Alfred, NY 14802
• Contact Celeine Easdon-Smith at 607-871-2597 to make your reunion gift over the phone.
