  1. What is provided when staying on campus? On campus accommodations are very basic, much like when you lived on campus. Towels and bed linens are provided for our on-campus guests. Rooms are not furnished with hangers or wastebastkets. Apartments and suites are equipped with kitchenettes, but no dishes, pots or pans are provided. Note - all on campus rooms must be reserved in advance.

  2. Are the dorms air conditioned?
    No. Air conditioning is not a feature of our on-campus housing. Please feel free to bring a fan with you for the weekend to help make your stay more comfortable.

  3. What area accommodations are available?
    If you prefer hotel accomodations we have reserved a block of rooms under "Alfred University Reunion" at:

  4. Where do we go when we arrive on campus?
    If you arrive between 9 am and 11 pm Friday, or between 8 am and 11 pm on Saturday, please proceed to the Registration Desk located in the Powell Campus Center, Lobby Level. For those who have pre-registered, we will have your nametag, event and schedule information, room keys (if staying on campus), etc. If you arrive after the Registration Desk has closed for the evening, please report to the Saxon Inn located at 1 Park Street, to pick up your Reunion packet.

  5. How do I know if my friends have registered or have arrived for the weekend?
    As reunion draws closer you will be able to view a list online of those who have registered. Attendance lists will also be posted in the lobby area of the Powell Campus Center during Reunion, where a message board is available to relay messages to your fellow alums. Feel free, as well, to inquire at the Registration Desk to see if guests have arrived yet.

  6. What transportation is available on campus?
    We will have staff-driven golf carts available during Reunion weekend. If you are in need of a ride, feel free to flag down a cart, and our staff will be happy to transport you.

  7. Who do we contact in case of emergency?
    During Reunion weekend, please contact the Registration Desk at 607-871-2175. We will notify the appropriate authorities and contact emergency personnel from the Registration Desk.

  8. What Internet access is available on campus?
    The AU ITS wireless expansion project is complete across campus. All residence halls are hardwired for Internet access and now have wireless capabilities as well.

  9. When is the Fitness Center and pool open during the weekend?
    Friday:
    Fitness Center - 11 am to 6 pm
    McLane Center Pool - 4 pm to 5 pm
    Saturday:
    Fitness Center - 8 am to 1 pm, 3 pm to 5 pm
    McLane Center Pool - 8 am to 10 am, 3 pm to 5 pm
