Letter to the Track & Field:

Dear Track and Field Alumni:

By now you have heard about the Track and Field Reunion this summer and I’m demanding your attendance, can you feel the table shaking as I pound my fist? It’s been a long time and as much as I’d like, I won’t be around forever.  Some of my greatest memories were shared with many of you and I’d sure enjoy an opportunity to tell some stories, laugh and revisit some great times. We’d all enjoy hearing where the course of life has taken you, your accomplishments and those of your family. Alfred holds a very special place in my heart because of you!

I’m asking you to spread the word about our June gathering – tell them “Dubes” wants everyone to come back! Share with them a great opportunity to record forever some of our best of times by scanning and uploading your AU track and field photos to cliffdubes.com. In early May we will create a scrapbook containing the photos we receive and a complimentary copy will be given to everyone attending. We plan to have a track and field reception and dinner and share some social time to catch up.

I intend to send this letter to all track and field alumni and strongly encourage you to spread the word making sure everyone knows about the reunion. Over the next few months the Alumni Office will be sending regular communications to you and fellow track and field alumni insuring all remain well informed as the Reunion 2013 details become available.  You can also periodically check the alumni page on the AU website for updated information. So, spread the word and –

• Mark your calendar! Mark your calendar now for Reunion 2013, June 7-9. Registration     forms have been mailed.
• Take advantage of the early registration discount by registering by April 1st at www.alfred.edu/alumni/register
• Call your teammates! Visit the Alfred alumni website www.alfred.edu/alumni to find other track alums, pick up the phone and reach out to them.
• Look for communications soon to arrive from fellow teammates.
