- The
Banner software has been upgraded to Release 6 and has been customized
to SICAS standards

- The
Data Standards team under the guidance of Karen Johnson has completed
the Data Standards Manual. This manual can be found under
the Documentation link on your left. Take a look at all
of their hard work. Team members are listed under Organization
link. Thank you all!

- After
extensive work, the Finance group lead by Tammy Raub has completed
the Chart of Accounts. This major undertaking was accomplished
with the expert knowledge of Dawn Dowdle, Theresa Gunn, Richard
Stebbins, Jane Gilliland and Giovina Lloyd.

- Business
Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
has been completed for the functional areas of Finance, Financial
Aid, HR/Payroll and Student. Dr. James Tisdale presented
an executive summary to the cabinet on June 3rd, 2003.

- Installation
of the hardware and software needed to run the Banner system has
been completed on schedule and testing is continuing.
