Q. What town do you call home now?
A. Alfred, NY

Q. Have you always lived there?
A. No, I have also lived in: Renssalaer, IN; Williamsport, PA; Oxford, OH; Canton, PA; Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta GA, and Louisville, KY.

Q. What little known fact about AU do you like to share most?
A. A.U. is the only school in the U.S. with a B.S. degree in Glass Engineering Science .

Q. What students do you primarily work with?
A. While I do not oversee a specific territory, I enjoy working with prospective undergraduate and graduate students.

Q. If you were a student today at AU: In what activities would you be involved?
A. AU Biking Club, AU Outdoor Club, AU Table Tennis Club, and Psi Chi

Q. What is one link on the AU web you would encourage "just looking" students to explore?
A. Our admissions web site!: http://www.alfred.edu/admissions

Q. What is your favorite building on the AU campus?
A. Alumni Hall

Q. Is there anything else you really want to share?
A. "Unique" is commonplace in the world of college admissions. Many schools can tout small class sizes, engaged faculty, a picturesque campus, and so on. Few schools, however, can promote the qualities mentioned above in the context of a comprehensive university setting. In this context, unique is something the Alfred University community can share with conviction. Alfred University offers small classes taught by highly credentialed faculty (not teaching assistants) with academic offerings ranging across the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, School of Art & Design, College of Business, and Inamori School of Engineering. This learning environment is not commonplace, and is an experience e that truly sets Alfred University apart from other schools across the country.

A. Harder Hall

Q. Is there anything else you really want to share?
A. I consider myself a functional potter, and really found my artistic voice at AU. I think Alfred is a place you really have to experience and see for yourself. The University and the town attract a great kind of person and there is a wonderful sense of community that I love and did not find at the large suburban high school I went to.
