Entrance Counseling is a federal requirement for all Federal Stafford Loan (FSL) borrowers. This counseling session will help students understand the terms and provisions of the FSL as well as their rights and responsibilities as a borrower. Students will only need to complete Entrance Counseling once for enrollment at Alfred University.

For the 2008-09 academic year, Alfred University will only offer Entrance Counseling in the on-line format made available through Wachovia. Once you have accessed the entrance web page by clicking above, click on "Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling." Follow the directions for each page. Be sure to select Alfred University from the drop-down list in your personal information, so that your quiz results will be sent electronically to our office. Please be sure that you receive a "congratulations" message stating you have passed the quiz. If you do not, you should begin the quiz again.
