Freshmen will enjoy co-ed by floor community living in any one of our four centrally-located first-year halls: Reimer, Tefft, Cannon and Barresi.
Each of these traditional, corridor-style halls houses between 85 and 100 students. The smaller number of students in each makes it easier to meet people and make friends. The first-year halls are known best for their convenient location to Academic Alley, Ade Dining Hall and the McLane Athletic facilities and fields.
Residents enjoy a spacious main lounge where many gather for movie nights, programs by RA’s, birthday parties and a number of other community activities. Laundry and kitchen facilities are also available for the convenience of the residents in each building.
Reimer boasts a pool table and ping pong table and is located close to the hiking trail and picnic areas. Tefft Hall is designated a “quiet study” residence hall. Barresi Hall has a pool table in its recreation room. Cannon Hall is the smallest of the first-year halls, which makes the atmosphere very friendly and home-like.
In every building, each floor has a resident assistant and a full time professional hall director lives on the first floor. |
