Career Development Center plans annual Engineering Career Fair

Alfred University’s Career Development Center will hold an Engineering Career Fair from noon - 3 pm Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Knight Club, Powell Campus Center on the AU campus. The event is being held in conjunction with other School of Engineering events during National Engineers Week.

This event is free and open to students, alumni, and community members. Professional dress is required for this event, and the Career Development staff suggests attendees bring several copies of their resume. Companies are recruiting for internship, co-op, and permanent positions for college-educated candidates.

A fourth-year career event sponsor, PPG, Inc. will be present at the event to speak with candidates about current openings. Other companies already registered for the event include: Adecco Technical, ANH Refractories, Anheuser-Busch, CertainTeed, Corning Inc., Emerson Power Transmission, Emhart Glass, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Greatbatch, Inc., Howmet Castings, Northern Lights Candles, Owens Corning, The Gunlocke Company, Ultrafab, Inc. and Zampbell Refractories.
