Horton joins College of Business staff

The Alfred University College of Business has welcomed Tiffany Horton as the secretary to the dean of the College of Business. Horton, her husband Shawn, and son Cogan reside in Greenwood, NY.

Horton is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Alfred State College in ’92 where she studied in the liberal arts and nursing fields. Previously, she worked in the AU University Relations Division as assistant director of the Annual Fund for four years until 2002, when she accepted a position at PWI Allegany ARC as a buyer.

As a new member of the College of Business family, Horton will assist with the College of Business accreditation process, support both the dean and assistant dean, process invoices and travel expenses as well as arrange travel for student organizations, faculty and staff. She will make arrangements for visitors and faculty candidates, help with the annual Cutco Lecture Series planning, and the Excellence in Family Business Galanis Awards.

Lori Hollenbeck, assistant dean, College of Business, said, “Tiffany Horton has been a great professional addition to the University staff, bringing strong technology skills, proactive service, and a pleasant personality. We are very pleased to have her as a part of our community.”
