ALFRED, NY — Michelle Adams (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads), a sophomore attacker on the Alfred University women’s lacrosse team, has been named Co-Player of the Week by the Empire 8 Conference.

Adams was honored for her play in the Saxons’ season-opening 15-13 victory over visiting Keuka on Wednesday, March 18, in which she had eight goals and an assist.

Adams shares the weekly honors with Christine Smith of Stevens Institute of Technology. Alfred is in action next on Wednesday, March 25, at 4 p.m. at Wells.
