MURFREESBORO, TN — Kristen Kovatch (Lansdale, PA/North Penn), a junior on the Alfred University Western equestrian team, competed over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) national championships in Murfreesboro, TN.

Kovatch, competing in advanced horsemanship, made it to the finals in her class on Saturday (April 25) but did not place.

She qualified to compete in the IHSA nationals after placing fourth in advanced horsemanship at the IHSA Semi-Final show March 22 at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX.
