ALFRED, NY -- The Alfred University women's tennis team dropped an Empire 8 Conference match to visiting Stevens Institute of Technology, 8-1, Saturday afternoon.

Senior Holly Seidewand (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) earned Alfred's only win of the match, taking fourth singles 6-4, 6-2.

AU is in action next on Monday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. at Nazareth.
