The Student Affairs Division is committed to educating our students to develop, explore, and express themselves as individuals and as members of a community, in an environment of mutual respect and safety. We offer students opportunities for leadership, teamwork, self-expression, social engagement, responsibility, and more.
The Student Affairs division:
- Fosters an environment in which students make positive choices regarding their health and wellness, safety, and community responsibility.
- Offers superior student activities and organizations that help students appreciate diversity, take pride in the campus, promote creativity, and establish leadership skills.
- Aligns our residential living environment with our student-centered philosophy by focusing on the first-year experience, facilities, and community development.
- Provides intercollegiate athletic and recreation programs that promote teamwork, leadership, self-esteem, health, and well-being.
- Prepares students for life after college through effective career development and women's leadership.
- Establishes a campus-wide climate that celebrates diversity while sharing common goals.
