Morning Program - Grades K-6 (must be at least 5 years old to attend) 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Monday through Friday
"Art Force Five" Day Camp for developing artists; topics built upon Art Force Five Superheros!

The camp will be held in "The Brick" BAFA Studio on the Alfred University Campus. The camp fee is $150. There is a discount of $20 for siblings attending; please contact the office of Summer Programs (607.871.2612) for details. The enrollment deadline is July 10, 2017. We will accept enrollments after the deadline only if there is still room in the camp. After July 1, please call 607.871.2612 to check availability before submitting enrollment form.

Who Can Attend?
This day camp is for students who have completed grades K-6 who wish to participate in a fun, dynamic summer art experience. Students will be divided into groups based upon age and grade level. (The minimum age requirement for this camp is 5.)

Schedule
Camp sessions run Monday through Friday. Students must be dropped off each day no later than 8:30 AM; registration will open each morning at 8:15. Campers must be picked up by 12:30 PM. No supervision can be guaranteed prior to or after that time block.

AFTERNOON PROGRAM - "After 5: Capture your Style! "
July 24-28; 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This camp is for middle and high school students

Program:
1:00-1:15: Team Meeting
1:15-1:30: Art Demos
1:30-3:00: Studio work time (session 1)
3:00-3:15: Refueling and Break Time
3:15-3:30: Demos and Discussions
3:30-4:30: Studio Work
4:30-5:00: Feedback and Art Talk & "Tomorrow's Teaser"

Students are welcome to bring a snack to have during the "Refueling and Break Time"

The camp will be held in "The Brick" BAFA Studio on the Alfred University Campus. The camp fee is $160. There will also be two OPTIONAL evening skill development studio sessions (Tuesday and Wednesday) from 6:30-8 p.m. each night. These sessions will be supervised by the co-directors. The fee for each night is an additional $10 per night. Please note that there is a discount of $20 for siblings attending; please contact the office of Summer Programs (607.871.2612) for details. Students must be dropped off each day no later than 1:00 p.m. and campers must be picked up by 5:00 p.m. No supervision can be guaranteed prior to or after that time block. If you sign up for the additional OPTIONAL evening studio time on Tuesday (7/25) and/or Wednesday (7/26) the times are 6:30-8:00 p.m. There is an additional charge for each of these evening studio times ($10 each).

Directors
The camp co-directors are Dr. Corrie Burdick, AU Assistant Professor of Art Education and Kristin Buchholz, Certified Art Teacher, Genesee Valley High School. Questions regarding program content may be directed to Corrie via email.

How to Enroll
Enroll as soon as possible as enrollments will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis until full. To enroll, please complete the online enrollment form. The enrollment deadline is July 1.

Enrollments received after the deadline will only be accepted if there is still room in the camp. After July 1, please call us at 607.871.2612 to check availability before submitting an enrollment form.

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be made for cancellations received by July 1. 50% refund for cancellations received July 2-10. We cannot make refunds to students who cancel after July 10 because the amount of materials purchased, classrooms reserved, and staff hired will be based upon the number of students expected and cannot be changed after that time.
