Several students pitched in on Thursday (Oct. 5) to provide a fresh coat of paint to the Tiny House, a sustainable living facility that has served for several years as a capstone project for engineering students. Among the students helping out were (from left) Claire Ferro, Elise Wardour, and Alyssa Smith. Elise is a junior renewable energy engineering major; Claire and Alyssa are junior mechanical engineering majors. The Tiny House will be a featured stop on the National Solar Tour, being held Friday-Sunday, Oct. 6-8. The Solar Tour, sponsored by the American Solar Energy Society, features projects across the country that promote sustainability.
