Nominations sought for 2026 Marlin Miller Outstanding Senior Awards Alfred University is seeking nominations for the 2026 Marlin Miller Outstanding Senior Awards, one of the university’s most prestigious honors presented to students annually. The deadline to make nominations is Feb. 10.

Sharif Bey's “Autoethnography” to open at Alfred Ceramic Art Museum The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum beginning Feb. 12 will host “Autoethnography,” a solo exhibition by the groundbreaking artist Sharif Bey. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Feb. 12, and the exhibit will run through July 19.

ACAM Director Benjamin Evans publishes article on international ceramic film festival Benjamin Evans, Wayne Higby Director and Principal Curator of the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, wrote an article that was published recently in Ceramics Now, a leading art publication specializing in contemporary ceramics.

Last call for Alumni Award nominations The deadline to submit nominations for Alfred University Alumni Awards is nearly here. Nominations for the honors—which help recognize alumni who are making a difference, breaking boundaries, and giving back—must be completed by Saturday, January 31, 2026.
