Join the Alfred University's Performing Arts Division for the 2024 Evening of Dance. The event is scheduled for one weekend only, Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 15, 16, and 17. All shows are at 8 p.m. in Miller Theater.
The performance features choreographic works by Alfred University faculty members Colleen Wahl, Assistant Professor of Dance, and Erin Law, Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance, as well as students Alexia Blitz, Grace Fox, Kaylee Gernant, Ella Genovese, Frankie Guiliano, and Shirite Westreich. Ola Kraszpulska, Visiting Assistant Professor of Performance Design and Technology, designed lighting for the performances.
This event, which is free and open to the public, will highlight the rich and collaborative nature of the performing arts. Attendees will experience the many skilled roles Alfred University students take on in the process, including choreographer, dancer, costume designer, costume builder, lighting designer, and stage crew.
