Steven Tidrow and SK Sundaram, Inamori Professors of Materials Science and Engineering in Alfred University’s Inamori School of Engineering, attended the 9th Kyocera Professor Meeting 2024 in Kagoshima, Japan, held Aug. 26 and 27.
Tidrow and Sundaram each presented talks at the meeting: Tidrow’s was titled “New Simple Material Model and E-field Dipole Engineering at the Nanoscale”; Sundaram’s was “Glasses for Terahertz Photonics + Haikus on Glass and Ceramics.”
The conference was organized by Kyocera Corporation, which endowed the Inamori Professorship at Alfred University.
