Members of Alfred University’s Anvil Club will be working on their blacksmithing projects throughout the summer and invites the public to view these demonstrations.

Club members will be set up in the parking lot by the STEP Lab, behind Greene Hall off Main Street in Alfred, between 1 and 5 p.m. Club members plan on working on their projects on the following Saturdays: July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9.
Those wishing to view students working on their blacksmithing projects are asked to notify club member Dominick Leonardi at [email protected], and are also advised to check the club’s Instagram — ALFREDU_ENGINEERING — the day of their planned visit to ensure there are no changes or cancellations.
Organizers note that the activity can be dangerous and ask visitors to keep a safe distance.
