Reza Mirzaei, clinical assistant professor of art history in the School of Art & Design at Alfred University's New York State College of Ceramics, presented "Landscape," a new photography exhibition at O Gallery's Window Project in Tehran, Iran, from November 14-25, 2025.
The exhibition featured three recent photographs that explore the complex relationship between abstraction and figuration, between aesthetic contemplation and documentary witness. Mirzaei's landscapes resist straightforward interpretation, instead dissolving recognizable elements into abstract compositions that evoke the fragmented nature of memory and displacement.
The O Gallery’s Window Project provides a 2.5 cubic meter experimental space, offering a platform for unconventional approaches through short term presentations. For more information about the exhibition, visit the O Gallery website.
