Phi Theta Kappa Society recognizes Alfred University for transfer student support, encouragement

Alfred University has joined the Phil Theta Kappa Society’s Transfer Honor Roll for colleges and universities welcoming transfer students from two-year institutions and other four-year colleges and universities.

The Phi Theta Kappa Society has included Alfred University on its Honor Roll of colleges and universities offering productive support to transfer students.

 

To be included on the honor roll Alfred University has demonstrated numerous academic and campus features that support the success of transfer students, including:

  1. Students’ success rates
  2. Campus friendliness and sense of belonging
  3. Availability of need- and merit-based financial aid
  4. Acceptance of transfer credits toward a four-year degree program
  5. Recruitment experience and campus life for transfers

If you are considering transferring to a four-year college or university, you may consider using the PTK Honor Roll as a place to begin your research into institutions that have high success records in welcoming transfer students.
