Biography
Dr. Hannah Porter Denecke is a Visiting Clinical Professor of Music at Alfred University this year. Hannah completed the PhD in Musicology at Florida State University, the MM in Musicology and Sacred Music at the University of Florida, and the BM in Applied Music (Composition & Theory) at Western Illinois University. In addition to Hannah’s academic pursuits, she is a classically trained vocalist, a touring singer/songwriter, and a working church musician. Hannah brings all of these aspects of her life and training into her teaching at AU. You can find more information about Hannah at her website.
