Apply to study abroad by September 1st!

The priority deadline to apply for winter and spring 2026 study abroad programs is September 1st! While there are still programs open after the 1st, the sooner you can get your application in, the better. If you are interested in studying abroad, please reach out to the Global Education office at [email protected] to get started.

You can also visit our website - abroad.alfred.edu - for more information on the different programs available, how financial aid applies, and what scholarships are might work for you!

Study in Germany this January: Info Meeting on Wed., Sep. 2

An informational meeting about the January 2027 German Autos, Art, and History study abroad trip featuring business, history, and art history classes will be held in Kanakadea Hall 103, 4:45-5:20 on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Join the "AU Social Media Network"

Do you manage a social media account affiliated with Alfred University? Join the AU Social Media Network, a new Teams channel for faculty, staff, and students who help manage social media on behalf of an AU department, program, office, organization, or other University-affiliated area.

The Teams channel will serve as a central place for the Social Media Manager to share resources, training, updates, best practices, and upcoming content opportunities, as well as answer social media questions.

It is also a space for collaboration across campus. Members can connect with others managing AU-affiliated accounts, share ideas and upcoming events, coordinate content, ask questions, and find opportunities for departments and teams to work together.

Waitlist Ending

If you are waitlisted for a course please be aware that waitlisting ends at the end of the day Friday 8/28/2026. Any student who is still waitlisted for a course will have those courses removed from their schedule. Students will need to check their schedule and make alternate plans during what is left of the add/drop period to be sure they stay full-time. Once waitlist has ended any provided capacity overrides should work for the remainder of the add/drop period.
