Pre-College Programs Coordinator Isaac Matson will lead a personal discussion that follows what it is like to be raised in a sub-culture that was preparation to help fight the “Culture Wars” as a young Evangelical Christian, the subsequent breakaway from this culture, and how it has the seeds to undermine the ideals of American Democracy. The discussion includes how the current situation represents a victory for Christian Nationalism, as well as looking at the historical context that allowed this movement to become so prevalent in US Politics.
