About This Facility

The Arthur and Lea Powell Campus Center is the central hub for student life at Alfred University — a vibrant 60,000-square-foot space where academics, social connection, culture, and creativity come together under one roof.

Opened in 1994 as a gift from alumnus Arthur Powell ’43, ’95 (H) and Lea Powell ’95 (H), the building was thoughtfully designed for students, faculty, and the wider campus community. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, attending a film screening, meeting with a club, or just unwinding between classes, Powell is where campus energy lives.
