One of the three emphasis areas of the next Alfred University Strategic Plan is “Living into our Place.” Foster Lake has been the property of Alfred University since 2002. We manage it to enhance student experience through outdoor recreation and education, for recreational use by our employees and retirees, as well as for community recreation. Dean of College of Business Mark Lewis will give a presentation that focuses on the history of Foster Lake, our recent changes in managing the property, and plans for future enhancements.
The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Division of Human Studies and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, runs from 12:15 to 1:10 p.m. on Thursdays in Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center and by Zoom. Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish. Coffee and tea will be provided. For further information contact or a calendar invite with the Zoom link, contact John D’Angelo at [email protected].
