Assistant Professor of Education Jennifer Snow will examine the evidence and track clues from educational theorists to solve the mystery of what’s truly effective and what’s simply required. Our program, consisting of 130 students campus-wide, seeks to uncover the greatest educational caper of our time: addressing the instructional demands of teaching and learning in diverse circumstances. We’re not going to just talk about teaching; you’re going to experience a small slice of what we’re teaching our students. This session will use a real-world artifact—our lesson plan template—to guide the investigation.
The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Division of Human Studies and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, runs from 12:15 to 1:10 p.m. on Thursdays in Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center and by zoom. Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish. Coffee and tea will be provided. For further information contact or a calendar invite with the zoom link, contact John D’Angelo at [email protected].
