Claire Tuxill McKenney

Claire Tuxill McKenney is so pleased to be a part of MostArts. She hails from Syracuse, New York and is an active freelance musician and private horn instructor in the greater Central New York area. Claire is a member of the Clinton Symphony of the Mohawk Valley and has performed with such groups as the Catskill Symphony, Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, and The Syracuse Orchestra, amongst others. She is often called upon to play Syracuse Stage and SU Drama musical productions, and enjoys performing chamber music with the trio Storied Winds and Alliance Classical Players.  She holds music performance degrees from SUNY Fredonia and The Ohio State University, where she was the Graduate Teaching Associate in the horn studio. In her spare time, Claire can be found spoiling her Jack Russell Terriers.
