Members of the Alfred University women’s basketball team honored faculty and staff who they consider mentors prior to the team’s second annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Each student-athlete chose a faculty/staff member who they say has made positive impacts on their collegiate experiences. Alfred University's Division of Psychology collaborating with CACT and EthAR LLC of Huntsville, AL, wins $275,000 grant to investigate augmented reality-supported training processes

A collaborative venture between Alfred University's Division of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Center for Advanced Ceramic Technology (CACT), and the Huntsville, AL-based EthAR LLC has been awarded a $275,000 Small Business Innovation Research grant to explore the use and value of augmented reality (AR) devices in the training of industrial work groups.

Alfred University to present ‘An Evening of Dance’

Join the Alfred University’s Performing Arts Division for the 2024 Evening of Dance. The event is scheduled for one weekend only, Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 15, 16, and 17. All shows are at 8 p.m. in Miller Theater.
