Alfred University hosted the National History Day Regional Competition at Powell Campus Center on Tuesday, March 10. Approximately 55 students from six area school districts participated.

On Saturday, March 21, Alfred University will host the first home baseball games at the team’s new field at the Saxon Hill Sports Complex. The first game of the Empire 8 Conference doubleheader against Houghton University begins at noon.

The Alfred University hunt seat and Western equestrian teams competed over the weekend in their respective Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) regional championships. The Saxons, who hosted the Western regional show on Saturday, March 7, and the hunt seat team, competing Sunday, March at Cornell University, both placed first to come away with High Point team titles.
