Episode 4: In the World
Katrin Laade, International Randall Chair, will talk about her artwork and its development throughout the last 4 decades, as well as her education at the Düsseldorf Art Akademie and de Ateliers in the Netherlands, her artistic influences and environment. Katrin Laade paintings move within the spectrum of abstract painting, but they also refer to photographs of real circumstances, social or natural events, they are based “in the world.”
The Bergren Forum, sponsored by the Division of Human Studies and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, runs from 12:15 to 1:10 p.m. on Thursdays in Nevins Theater in Powell Campus Center and by Zoom.
