Charles Loh

Charles Loh currently attends the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, earning a Masters degree in violin performance. He studies with David Halen, concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Previously, he attended Brown University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Chemistry. At Brown, he was concertmaster of the Brown University Orchestra, an active chamber musician, and Financial Director of Healing Through Harmony, an organization committed to sharing music at hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons.
This past year, Loh was a section violinist in The Syracuse Orchestra, and he regularly subs with the Waco Symphony and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. Previous summer engagements include the Aspen Music Festival, the Interlochen Arts Camp, and the Shippensburg Festival.
