Noah Fields

Noah Fields, violinist and violist, lives in Syracuse, NY, where he plays regularly with the Syracuse Orchestra. An active chamber musician, he has collaborated with artists such as Hsin-Yun Huang, Amy Schwartz Moretti, members of the Cavani Quartet, as well as members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra. In recent seasons he has performed as a chamber musician at the Rome Chamber Music Festival (Italy), the Geneva Music Festival (New York), the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society and Ensemble X (Ithaca). His principal teachers are Lawrence Dutton, Rebecca Albers, and Scott Woolweaver. Beyond string instruments, is also a former member of the renowned sacred music choir Christ Church Schola Cantorum in Rochester, NY. In addition to degrees in music performance, he holds an undergraduate degree in English from Williams College.
