The Alfred University Athletic Department announces that the Saxon Golf Classic will be paused for one year to reconstruct the event for greater future success. The annual event, held during the Alfred University reunion weekend, will resume in 2026 at the Wellsville Country Club.
In place of the golf outing at Reunion, the Athletic Department will host an Athletics Alumni Celebration in Connors Pavilion at Yunevich Stadium on Friday, June 6, 2025. Alfred University alumni and their guests are encouraged to attend. The event will feature an athletics staff meet and greet, yard games, music, video highlights, and light refreshments. In addition, tours of the Saxon Hill Sports Complex will be available at 3 p.m. The tours will depart from the McLane Center parking lot.
