Professor S.K. Sundaram named associate editor for ACerS journal

S.K. Sundaram, Inamori Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Alfred University, has been named an associate editor for the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology (ACT).

The ACT publishes applied research on how ceramics and composites are developed for use in the commercial world. The journal focuses on the commercialization of engineered ceramics, products and processes.

Sundaram is a life member and Fellow of ACerS. He is also an elected Fellow of the Society of Glass Technology and the American Association for the Advancement of Science and is a Senior Member/Life Member of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), International. In May, he was appointed principal editor for the Editorial Board of the Materials Research Society. With nearly 14,500 members from 90 countries, the organization promotes the advancement of interdisciplinary materials research and technology.
