Kathy Woughter
Kathy Woughter began her career wanting to be a career counselor at a high school. However, after working in residence life at another college, she switched her goal to college career services. She enjoyed a decade of working in career development before taking on the role of Vice President of Student Affairs.
For Kathy, every single day is different in her position here at Alfred University. It has wild ups and downs along with the best colleagues she could imagine. She believes our students are amazing in their uniqueness, raw talent, quirkiness, and leadership potential, often not yet realized until they meet with our opportunities on campus.
Kathy never imagined she would be in Alfred 26 years after relocating to be closer to her boyfriend at the time. Now, she can't imagine living in a city again. She loves spending every moment she can outdoors adventuring in any and every way possible.
