Russell Patterson

Russell Patterson earned his B.A. from Alfred in Environmental Studies, Public Administration, and Economics before advancing onto the State University of New York at Albany for a Masters in Geographical Information Systems. Following his graduation, he moved to Charleston, SC, to work for Zapata Engineering.  

 

Russell has served 14 years of leadership to the Charleston Post and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Since he joined in 2003, he has been involved in an abundance of projects, positions, and events, including the organization and facilitation of two multi-regional conferences at the national level. He was also appointed Secretary to Post President. Currently, he is Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee.

 

Russell was also nominated and selected into the Academy of Fellows for the Society of American Military Engineers for his contributions.
