This wooden structure, nestled on the bank of Kanakadea Creek, is a popular site for outdoor musical performances, particularly during the summer months when the Alfred Village Band performs weekly concerts. Students find it a relaxing place to curl up with a book, or its lawn can become an arena for a Frisbee match. From Mid-June through Mid-October, the Alfred Farmers Market sets up at the Village Bandstand from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sundays providing fun for campus and community members in Alfred.
