A Brooklyn gallery’s exhibition of artwork created by Alfred University alumnus Andrew Erdos ’07 was featured recently in Glass Quarterly.
The Alfred University Division of Performing Arts production of Reina Hardy’s play Annie Jump and the Library of Heaven was to be staged on the Alfred University campus in April, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, thanks to a dedicated group of students and Theatre Department faculty, the power of technology, and support from the astronomy department, four performances of the play will now be held on campus in September.
Due to continued challenges presented by COVID-19, Alfred University and fellow members of the Empire 8 Conference will not be engaging in athletic competition this fall. The conference announced this evening that the Empire 8 Presidents Council has voted unanimously to postpone all fall competition in the sports of men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.
