Kameo Chambers, a first-year Electronic Integrated Arts major enrolled in Alfred University’s M.F.A. program, had work included in "Torrents: New Links to Black Futures," a group exhibition in collaboration with CulturalDC and DC Metro.

Kamari Carter Artist in Residence

Institute for Electronic Arts

Resident Artist Kamari Carter, sound designer, and installation artist primarily working with sound and found objects, will give a public presentation on Wednesday, March 27 at 4:30pm in Holmes Auditorium. Carter’s practice circumvents materiality and familiarity through a variety of recording and amplification techniques to investigate notions such as space, systems of identity, oppression, control, and surveillance.

Each year, candidates of the Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degrees showcase their work in a large, facility wide exhibition. Studios are transformed into gallery space, and the entire class exhibits their work throughout the School of Art & Design.
