Alfred University’s School of Art and Design recently announced a new partnership with the Chautauqua Visual Arts Residency Program.


Alfred University’s School of Art and Design recently announced a new partnership with the Chautauqua Visual Arts Residency Program.

SOAD/New York State College of Ceramics will fund a full scholarship for one of its current students and contribute $1,000 to an alumnus of Alfred University should they gain acceptance into the Chautauqua School of Art residency program.

The Chautauqua Visual Arts hosts partnerships with various institutions and organizations that are aligned with its mission to support and further the lives of artists.

In partnership with CVA, Alfred University joins numerous other institutions in the United States dedicated to the education of artists, including: Penn State School of Visual Arts, Ohio University, The Pittsburgh Glass Center, Pratt Institute, and Artspace New Haven.
