The April 7 Bergren Forum will be delivered by Mojca Küplen, Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Alfred University, speaking on “The Aesthetics of Disgust.”
Küplen writes: “Much art of the last few decades includes many works that appear to aim at arousing disgust. This talk will investigate whether or not disgust aroused by art can itself be a zone of aesthetic pleasure and enjoyment."
