“Memory Palace,” a solo exhibition by Alfred University MFA student Jolie Ngo, opened recently at the New York City gallery R & Company. It is Ngo’s first solo show.

“Ngo is at the forefront of a new generation of designers who are using new technologies to expand the boundaries and challenge the expectations of the centuries-old medium of ceramics, both technically and conceptually,” R & Company writes on its website in announcing the show.

The exhibition presents approximately 20 examples of Ngo’s ceramic art and will be on display through Aug. 12 at R & Company’s 64 White St. location in NYC.

Ngo was recently featured in an interview that appeared in Architectural Digest. Her artwork will also appear in the “Flower Craft” group exhibition at the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, which opens May 14.
