ALFRED, NY – Artwork by Lauren Lake, dean of the School of Art and Design and Performing Arts Division at Alfred University, is being shown in an exhibition currently on view at the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, OR.
The exhibition, titled “Tactic,” which is on view through Aug. 26, showcases the work of Lake and Brooks Oliver, a ceramic artist and board member of the Archie Bray Foundation.
The two collaborated in the exhibition to address the floral form in different media. Viewed together, their work is complementary in its minimal aesthetic and reliance on formal qualities.
