Lebow’s numerous publications on ceramic art and artists include Ken Ferguson (University of Pennsylvania Press), a retrospective of the work of ceramicist Ken Ferguson, who received his MFA from Alfred University in 1958. Lebow also is the author of Eden Revisited: The Ceramic Art of Kurt Weiser (Arizona State Art Museum), and the editor of Shards (D.A.P./Ceramic Arts Foundation), an anthology of writings by ceramic arts scholar Garth Clark.

Alfred University’s annual Perkins Lecture is named in honor of Dr. Dorothy Wilson Perkins, who received her BFA from the University in 1939. The lecture is supported by an endowment to the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum by Perkin’s husband and Alfred University graduate Dr. Lyle Perkins ’39 ’47.

Additional information on the 2022 Perkins will be forthcoming.
