Professor Maureen Weiss curates exhibition of work by Sharon Kagan

Maureen Weiss, associate professor of performance, design and technology in Alfred University’s School of Art and Design, Performing Arts Division, has curated an exhibition of work by artist Sharon Kagan.

The exhibition, titled "Compassion in Action," will be presented Oct. 10-14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Scenography Gallery of Miller Performing Arts Center. It will remain on view through Dec. 9.

Kagan will also give a talk as the featured speaker at the Weekly Wednesday Arts Speaker Series on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. in Nevins Theater Powell Campus Center.  There will be a reception for the artist at the culmination of her performance on Friday, October 14 at 2pm in the Scenography Gallery.
