Dean Lauren Lake presents at 2023 College Art Association Conference
Lauren Lake, Dean of the School of Art and Design + Performing Arts Division and Chair of The Performing Arts Division, recently presented “NOW/THEN: Leadership’s Role in Developing Inclusive Educational Systems” at the 111th College Art Association (CAA) conference in New York City.
Lake’s presentation, during the CAA’s annual conference Feb. 15-18, was part of the panel “On the Contrary: Creating a Truly Inclusive Learning Environment,” which was organized by affiliate society National Council of Art Administrators.
CAA is the preeminent international leadership organization in the visual arts. The organization promotes the arts and their understanding through advocacy, intellectual engagement, and a commitment to the diversity of practices and practitioners.
