MostArts celebrates “Music under the Stars” at the Brick Wednesday, July 26
People who like music usually like a good party, and the MostArts Festival has been throwing a mid-week bash since its founding: Music under the Stars, which is hosted traditionally by the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum and will be held this year on Wednesday, July 26, on the lawn of Alfred University’s Brick dormitory.
The MostArts Brass Quintet will kick off the good times at 6:30 pm. while a cash bar provides libations and guests can enjoy barbecue along with their favorite songs. Later in the evening, DJ Dan kicks the festivities up a notch with selections of pop music and an invitation to let it loose on the dance floor.
Other MostArts events, including tours of the Alfred Ceramic Art Music, complement Music under the Stars. If the skies are clear, Alfred University’s Stull Observatory will also be open, to bring the stars into clearer focus.
