Visiting professor in Performing Arts Division works on adaptation of ‘Wizard of Oz’

Ola Kraszpulska, Visiting Assistant Professor in Performance Design & Technology at Alfred University, was instrumental in the production and adaptation of the timeless classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” which opened Thursday at Geva Theatre in Rochester.


Kraszpulska is a new member of the faculty in the Performing Arts Division. She came to Alfred University from Geva Theatre, where she served as scenic charge artist. In that role, she oversaw and implements the painting of all scenic elements.

“The Wizard of Oz” is Kraszpulska’s final show as scenic change artist for Geva Theatre. The production runs through Oct. 1. Ticket information here.
